Brief History
  • The company was established in Belgium in 1951
  • DERA began as an importer/distributor of ingredients, packaging and equipment for the Belgian meat industry
  • In the seventies, DERA introduced its own R&D department and production unit to become a total solution provider
  • By the eighties, DERA sales units covered most of Western Europe
  • During the nineties, DERA expanded geographically to Central and Eastern Europe and enlarged its scope from meat to other food industries
  • Since 2000, DERA has developed in other regions such as the Middle East and Central Asia
  • In September 2006, DERA opened its new state-of-the-art Application Center
